I'm the Associate Director of the Biology Undergraduate Initiative, and as such, I edit Biology's undergraduate newsletter.
I am looking for someone who can take photos for this newsletter throughout the 95-96 academic year. It's a quarterly newsletter, and I expect that there will be 5-6 assignments. For each assignment, I can pay $8/hour and reimburse for film & processing. Of course you can also see your name in print as a photo credit in the newsletter. Ideally, I'd like to have 2-3 people who I can call on as things come up.
Interested persons should stop by my office, Jordan Hall 127, with some work samples (and a resume, optional) that can be left with me temporarily. (If I'm not in, leave them with the secretary.) Sample copies of previous newsletters are available in the office. I will continue to consider people until I "hire" someone, which will hopefully be before the end of September.

For what it's worth, we are the largest school of photography in Australia and have several exchange programs with US schools.
We take students from all over the world on a field trip called the Integrated Field Study and travel with a biologist, geologist, artist and designer to the outer parts of Australia. This January we are going to Tasmania. It's a photographer's dream!
I am actually an American (Texas) - been here for 8 years and have been exploring Oz for 6. Our multidiciplinary, multicultural a pproach to these trips has been great.
If anyone is strange enough to be interested, please contact me at G.SPRING@RMIT.EDU.AU

I am looking for a student who would be willing to print a few 11x14 B&W prints for under $7 a print. If you are interested, give me a call.
